Natalie Horsfield

I am Natalie Horsfield. I was born Natalie Barbara Horsfield in Gravesend and lived the first six months of my life in Meopham, Kent, before moving with my parents to Wythall, Worcestershire, England. I attended Meadow Green Primary School, Wythall, and Alcester Grammar School, Warwickshire. I graduated from the University of Hull in 2002 with a first in B.Sc. (Hons) in Environmental and Resource Management and stayed on in Hull to study for a PhD in satellite rainfall monitoring for hydrology, which is due to be completed in 2005.

I’m a member of the university volleyball club and can regularly be seen playing in the Hull local league as part of the ‘lurcals’! I recently left St. John Ambulance after 11 years as a member of Bournbrook Quad, Birmingham, and in more recent years, Hull University Links. I spend plenty of time socialising with my friends, either pub crawling round Hull, or going to the cinema. I enjoy dinghy sailing but unfortunately only get a chance when I’m on holiday!
